Al-Tawhidi''s luck after his death was not better than his luck during his life. Yaqut was surprised that male historians did not translate him even though he was the philosopher of writers and the writer of philosophers. We did not find a comprehensive translation of his life in the books we have except short excerpts and scant information.He wanted to take revenge on the people who disbelieved in his deeds and denied his knowledge and morals, so in his last days he burned his books and said: "I collected most of them for the people and to seek example from them, to establish leadership among them, and to expand prestige among them, so I forbade all of that... and I was forced among them after the tenness and knowledge many times." To eating vegetables in the desert, to scandalous modesty among private and public people, to selling religion and chivalry, and to taking hypocrisy for reputation. And hypocrisy, and what a free person does not do well to draw with a pen, and puts pain in the heart of its owner."
