Engineering for HCI

This volume explores the area of engineering for human-computer interaction. The following topics are discussed in detail: formal methods; tools; the future and multimedia; architectures; architectures for CSCW; and design. Other more specialized areas are also examined, such as the human context, how to make formal methods more useful, rapid implementation and development, usability testing and CSCW mini scenarios. The book also provides a discussion of research results from a range of international authors.
