End of the Age: The Historian

It is 957YOL and Paul Watanabe has a bachelor's degree in history and a fianc . Paul lives in a world that has been at peace for over eight hundred years. There is one world government, one world king, the Lord Emmanuel. Lord Emmanuel is both king and God and he has a race of ancient beings to back him up. As an aspiring historian, Paul knows about ancient God/Kings, but that was different; surely the Lord Emmanuel truly is king and God. More important to Paul is his new wife and new career. After all, everyone had work and a place to live; no one went hungry. What more could one ask?
