Empowering the Congregational Nurse

This interactive book bundle (first published 2013) is updated to a 2-volume guide for establishing a faith community nursing practice at a critical time in society. The nurse audience is led from the inception of an idea, through role definition, strategies for services, and interaction with the community at large. Practice models are described, fund-raising ideas are given; working documents, planning strategies, and problem-solving scenarios are offered. It is a reflective and strategizing journey complete with an "Operations Manual" from which to construct a development plan. The author is an experienced community health nurse and nurse educator interested in ministering to the whole person through the avenues of physical, mental and emotional, social, economic, and spiritual resources.
