
Employee Reward, Commitment, Empowerment and Performance; A Mediated Moderated Approach
It is for this reason that organizations envisage the need to maximize the utilization of the human resource capital through tapping into the knowledge of their employees. Employee performance is therefore a key factor in predicting and determining organizational growth and success. Furthermore, companies are grappling with the difficulty of retaining their best talents in this highly competitive marketplace for labor and this has sparked debate on ways of garnering organizational commitment from employees.
The book reflects the author's PhD research work in Moi University, Kenya and offers strategic recommendations that can be applied in organizations to enhance employee performance, organizational commitment, improve retention and work outcomes. Reward strategy is found to have better outcomes when it is complemented by organizational commitment and employee empowerment.
