Eleven-year-old Emmie Jones has a PASSION for fashion. She dreams of becoming a fashion designer. Patterns, sketches, and measurements are constantly swirling around in Emmie's head. During her fifth-grade class, she often finds herself daydreaming about fashion shows and designing stylish clothes instead of paying attention to the lesson.Although Emmie is a good student and math comes easy for her, she cannot wait until she is old enough to quit school and follow her designer path. When she is caught unready during class, and teased by a classmate, her retaliation sends her to the principal's office.
