Embers the Beginning and Embers the End of Mirpur

This is a recount of author's memoirs with the gory details of death and destruction that befell Mirpur, a prosperous town of the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir, and author's birthplace. Twenty thousand Hindus and Sikhs were massacred and the town ceased to exist w.e.f. 25 Nov 1947.
