Electrical faults in HVAC systems

There are a large number of technical publications dealing with HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) training, but few are written from the point of view of electrical repair and diagnosis. Most faults observed in HVAC systems are electrical or electronic. Although apprentices are trained in electrical and electronic concepts, most of them find it difficult to use their knowledge in their work situation. The aim of this manual is to present a summary of the main electrical faults encountered in HVAC systems and the immediate problems they will face in the field in a simpler way, and how to proceed with diagnosis and repair.
