El Panzón and the Great Spelling Bee

Epifanio truly fits the nickname his parents have given him. El Panzon (chubby kid) knows he is a big kid and there's no denying why: his Ma's food. Epi, as his friends call him, is the best reader/student in the class, and has the Gold Stars to prove it. The one goal he hasn't accomplished yet is the Great School Spelling Bee. A boy from another class has beaten Epi the past two years. Epi is determined to win this year. But at what cost?
