El abencerraje

Originally published in 1924, as part of the Cambridge Plain Texts series, this volume contains the full text of El abencerraje by Spanish writer Antonio de Villegas (c.1522–c.1551). The story is presented in the original Spanish, with some modernisation of spelling and grammar. A short editorial introduction in English is also included.
