Edinburgh Then and Now

Edinburgh Then and Now charts the city from the nineteenth century, with its smoky Victorian reputation as 'Auld Reekie', to the present day. Using atmospheric archive photography dating back to 1860, it shows the evolution of the city through the Victorian and Edwardian eras, two World Wars and touches on the social changes of the 1960s.
