You must have seen that our look into the wrongdoing was fruitful. Our studies in this area have yielded two outcomes: a method of dream interpretation and a theory of the element of dreams. We are aware that the dream aspect is not real since it is merely being utilized as a stand-in for what the dreamer is unaware of, just as we are unaware of the tendency in our wrongdoings. The second possibility is that the dreamer already possesses that component in his mind but is unaware of it. We hope to be able to apply this idea to the entire dream, or at least to all of its constituent parts. Making this association allows us to determine the nature of the dream's unconscious material. Now, in order to operate more freely, I propose a little modification to the nouns utilized. Instead of stating something is concealed, unknowable, or not real, we may say it is the dreamer's unconsciousness or lack of awareness. In dreams, there are only things that are temporarily unconscious, just like when someone forgets their name or the habits that lead to bad behavior. The components of dreams and visualizations utilized as stand-ins for acquired association will be referred to as conscious in contrast to this time-limited unconscious. This doesn't exactly suggest that we've done anything about it technically. People really can't hold it against us when we use the word unconscious as a pragmatic and understandable expression.
