Dragon Dreams

Chris is a preteen farm boy, athlete, honor-roll student. He finds a necklace in the attic and puts it on. That night he dreams of being a blue dragon who soars over his small town. When his alarm goes off, interrupting his dream, he wakes up to find he has become a blue dragon. He learns what it is like to be different as he struggles through a typical school day. Once he gets home, he gets to enjoy the benefits of being different. Being a dragon teaches him that there are both joys and trials that come with being different.
This book reminds us to embrace our differences as well as the differences of others while looking through the eyes of a boy who becomes a dragon.
