Dragon Bone Hill

From the first-person perspective, this book shows us the story of two teenagers protecting the national treasure "e;keel"e; (ancient human fossil) in the old Beijing city in the Anti-Japanese War in 1940. Heping and his friend Xiaoshanzi found a keel fossil by accident and tried to figure out its origin. In order to protect the fossils from being taken away by the Japanese, they tried their best to find the underground party and the Eighth Route Army while trying to protect the fossils. After several thrilling adventures, they finally completed their mission. The novel enjoys strong regional characteristics and reproduces some folk traditions of old Beijing artistically.
