After coming to Earth and facing many dangers along the way, the young Elemental, Raya, has chosen to stay with her new friends, while her boyfriend Dev returns to their home planet.

Knowing she will have some time to kill before he returns for her, Raya chooses to continue her studies at a local university. She settles in for what she believes will be an easy time while she pursues a degree in Astronomy and enjoys her time with her friends.

But all is not well on her home planet, Solara Prime. The planet is undergoing cataclysmic changes to its core, and the planet's government has been scrambling to find new homes for their people. As if that isn't enough, terrorists are ramping up their protests to what they believe is a wasted effort of exploring the universe and making allies on other planets. When they attack the city where Raya's family lives, Dev sets his sights on tracking them down and exacting revenge, while also planning to return to Earth to get Raya.

News of the destruction on Solara reaches Raya and it is devastating for her. And just when she thinks it can't get any worse it does. As Raya recovers from this new loss, and works to contact her people, her new Earth family works just as hard to keep her safe.

When a ship finally comes for her, Raya is determined to go after the terrorists responsible for the attack on Solara Prime. With the help of friends old and new, she prepares for the coming battle, and embarks on a new life of exploring the universe and seeking revenge for the deaths of her loved ones.
