Work was usually slow as a P.I. in Pariston, South Carolina. This sleepy city was not ready when a major crime hit. Chelsea owned Chuck's Curiosity, not the porn store. She owned one of two permanent private investigative firms in Pariston. When the Police Department presented Chelsea this case, they expected her smart mouth to solve the crime. They were not prepared for kidnapping, a big party, and to foot the bill of the only other P.I. firm in town. They definitely weren't equipped for the panthers-nobody was.
