Dog Poems: Inspired by the Dogs I Have Known

These poems reflecting on my life with dogs. I was a lonely, sickly child, but found the writings of Albert Payson Terhune of great inspiration for my love of dogs. My Llewellin Setter, Bob, was a great solace. I have had eight dogs since.Currently Prince is my third dachshund. He sleeps on my bed, sometimes more of it than seems fair, but he makes me laugh.
