Doctrinal Foundations of the Creation of Life

As a youth, Dr. Pearson's father, Glenn L. Pearson, former faculty in the College of Religious Instruction at Brigham Young University, taught his son to place the scriptures and inspired prophetic teachings ahead of the philosophies of men-this has served as his model throughout life. The influence of his father, his personal study of the scriptures and the teachings of inspired modern-day prophets has been the impetus behind his efforts in bringing about this book dealing with the subject of the creation of life on the earth. Pearson addresses philosophical issues, Latter-day Saint doctrine from scripture underlying the Creation, as well as scientific evidence backing the need for an intelligent creator-even Jesus Christ, the Creator of the heavens, the earth and all things therein.
