Diallel analysis over environments in Bottle Gourd

A detailed and thorough investigation of eight parents and their 28 F1 hybrids along with one standard check (ABG1) tested for 14 distinct characteristics under three different environments including Late rabi, Summer and Kharif seasons. In this study, diallel analysis was performed for the estimation of the genetic component of variation. In order to have unbiased estimates of various genetic components, the study was repeated over different environments where different seasons as a distinction factor.
