Description of New England, or Observations and Discoveries in the North of America in the Year of Our Lord 1614

Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. This tract was reprinted, with some variations, in Smith's larger work, the Generall Historie, first published in 1624. This latter work also embraced the most of Smith's tracts issued up to that time._ The Description has been reprinted by the Massachusetts Historical Society, in vol. Vi., third series, of their Collections, 1837 and is also included in the second volume of Force's tracts, 1838.
