Dawn explores the passions & emotions of a variety of workingmen; from the earliest shriek of the train whistle, and the rumble of truck engines, to the operatic whistle of the newsboy; the quarrels of the laboring force with each other, and with the fate of each A play in one-act, running from an early morning to mid-day, reflecting on a span of years in the late 1930s.
