Everyone knew who he was. He ran almost half the city, and no one dared mess with him.

It was foolish to even consider him, to throw away the chance I had at a better life for what would be one night, one incredible night. I had a plan, and I needed to stick to it to get the hell out of here and away from the darkness that haunted my past.
