This book presents a simplified and clear picture as much as possible about life in ancient Egypt at the height of its civilization. The author made it take the form of a story, meaning that he chose a number of real or fictional characters and wove stories around them that were consistent with information found by archaeological research. Also, the scenes covered in this book date back to the era of the New Kingdom (unless there is a reference to another period) and extend during the period between 1450 BC, i.e. the middle of the Eighteenth Dynasty, and 1100 BC, the end of the Twentieth Dynasty. It is a period that left us with a clearer legacy to rebuild than any other period. As for the paintings, they were carefully chosen to complement the written text, including pictures of material tools related to the daily life of Egyptians, including a huge number preserved in the British Museum, where they can be viewed with others.
