The gigantic ships are in orbit, waiting for humanity to finish them, make them their own, and leave the planet, which will once again do whatever it takes to stop humankind from getting a fresh start. The vast armada may seem invincible, but it is not. Human nature, greed and hunger for things that do not belong to her are only a small part of what causes problems. The losses are enormous, and when there isn't really anybody to blame, well, the blame game goes from one to all. And from the darkness comes yet another surprise that could not have been anticipated. Soon, the Crystal Planet lies ahead, and there are few alternatives to choose from.
