Critical States, Strength and Lifetime of the Matter - Technical Structures, Living Organisms, Environment

The scope of this book makes it possible to solve many cases of loading superposition and/or cumulation occurring in technical structures, living organisms and the environment. This book's objectives include: the unitary treatment of problems related to the strength, critical states and lifetime of technical structures, by taking into account their deterioration, residual stresses, irreversibility and rate of loading processes; the provision of solutions to superposition and/or cumulation of loads of the same nature but of different types, of those of different nature (mechanical, thermal, chemical, electrical, magnetic, nuclear etc.), in the case of technical structures, of living organisms and the environment; and to provide support in improving some design code.
