Course in College Humanism

This book responds to the current guidance of the central government to promote the excellent Chinese traditional culture, adhering to the basic design concept of "e;humanism education starts from the introduction of classical works"e;. Part 1 lays a solid foundation for tracing the spirit of classical works. Part 2, from the perspective of humanism, attaches great importance to richness, discernment, and fun, with a collection of famous writers, concise works, focusing on clues and interests, and carefully selecting texts from the perspectives of history, literature and art, and traditional Chinese medicine and health. Part 3 implements the unity of knowing and doing, introduces typical figures who have drawn wisdom from excellent Chinese culture, and introduces typical cases of studies and theories, which are applied as statecraft and sharpen the learning process. The consistent agenda of the textbook design is humanistic care and life inspiration. It focuses on the enlightenment of life, the pursuit of wisdom, the cultivation of beauty and fun, the unity of knowing and doing, and the cultivation of people through literature, to contribute to the cultivation and enrichment of the lives of contemporary students.
