Spending his days out on the tidal mudflats digging for bloodworms wasn't a glamorous occupation, but it was honest work and it had always provided Joe Bryant and his forefathers a good life: a life he wouldn't change for anything. Yet, when things begin to happen; a wrecked lobster boat, a Great White shark bitten in half, and missing people, it soon becomes apparent that, like it or not, change has come to Joe's life anyway.Soon, the small coastal community of Tide Port is awash in a wave of death and transformation. The citizenry are being mutated into a strange new form of life. They are also being summoned to the sea by something more terrifying than they could have ever imagined.
