Back in 2016, a pair of weirdos-writer and graphic designer Jenny Ashford, and Army veteran and former cook Tom Ross-decided to start a silly podcast-slash-YouTube-show called 13 O'Clock about poltergeists, true crime, and creepy historical mysteries. All well and good, but as the show progressed and mutated, the weirdos noticed that they kept going off on lots (and LOTS) of tangents, and many of those tangents were food-related. "So why don't you guys write a cookbook?" some listeners asked. And the weirdos replied, "Why the hell not?"
