Conversations with Jesse

Conversations With Jesse is a collection of short stories and essays based on parables from the New Testament and tales from the Old Testament. Dr. Wells writes in a conversational manner describing stories told to him by his good friend Jesse. These stories are not theology; they are a description in modern terms of these Bible stories and are intended to stimulate the reader's thinking by suggesting the backstory of famous Biblical lessons. These are suggestions by the author of what 'might have happened' and 'what was it like.'
