Adequate infrastructural facilities and high human development are the preconditions of economic growth of an economy. Gujarat is a fast growing state with high economic growth but comparatively low human development Though, Gujarat's economy has shown a consistently increasing rate of economic growth, yet The state was unable to improve its rank in HDI. It is in this background that the present study has beer set to anaryze tie level of inf'astructure and human development in the state as well as with respect to its districts and to establish relationship between infrastructure, economic growth and human development.
