Comparative Law Yearbook of International Business

The 22nd volume of the Comparative Law Yearbook of International Business contains various chapters relating to technology and the rights therein. There is a section dealing with the current situation regarding computer law in Luxembourg, Hungary and Greece and another chapter describing the ever-changing area of telecommunications and information technology in the United States, such topics reflecting the fastest developing sectors of business today. A further section covers aspects of intellectual property law. This section contains explanations of the intellectual property rights available in Peru and Israel, and it discusses the Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights and the Fifth Community Framework Program of the European Union. Other subjects that are covered in the book are employment law in India; company issues, including the division of companies in the Netherlands and mergers and takeovers in the United States; consumer law in Ireland; tax issues in Puerto Rico; compensation and conflict management in Nigeria; and aircraft financing in Canada.
