Colombia

In this book, the authors present current research in the study of the social, economic and environmental issues facing Colombia today. Topics discussed include the major environmental issues confronting Bogota's wetlands by analysis of their biodiversity, physicochemistry and eutrophication; elasmobranch biology and diversity in the marine and continental environments of Colombia; social and technological advances for people with disabilities in Colombia; and the climate and natural hazards of the Colombian Caribbean region.
