From the heartfelt love poems to the deep anguish of life's difficulties, it is easily relatable to many readers. Monica Key Davis was born on October 3, 1989 in Philadelphia, Pa. Since the age of eleven, she has had a growing love and interest in poetry. She has a love for poets such as Maya Angelou, Emily Dickinson, Langston Hughes, John Keats, and a few others. Alongside writing, Monica also has a passion for fine art. She was involved in a few art classes at a young age to enhance her creativity, while also attending an architecture and design school. Monica Davis is married with children and currently lives in the Philadelphia area. She continues to live out the creative side she was gifted with.
