Sanjay Jiwane is a missionary of Ambedkarite movement who grates his pen for the noble cause of bringing about awaredness in the society. He writes of the and for the poorest of the poor. He chiefly writes of lowly castes. Caste is a major character of his plays. but he doesn't write caste pride. Instead he writes the subjugation and oppression of the low castes by the upper ones. He writes the plight and servitude of the downtroddens which is the result of the forced slavery of thousands of years. He exhausts his powers for the betterment of the needy and so he is very proud of this. the intention of the translator to translate the plays of this unknown writer is purely to acquint the English world with the tragic predicament of this lowest strata of Indian society.
