Close Enough to Perfect

Close Enough to Perfect centers on the 2018 sudden death of the author's husband, Al, on a commercial airplane in flight. She deftly employs flashbacks to reveal circumstances of her upbringing, including the mental illness of her mother, the deep mutual love she shared with Al, and their adventuresome life that included travel, hunting, motorcycling, sport shooting, bourbon trails, generosity to family and friends, and operating a retail sporting goods business.
