Classic and Contemporary

This collection of 20 papers bears out the defining characteristics of current research in Germanic linguistics, such as a strong pursuit of morphology/syntax with a preference for modern data. Classic research problems of Germanic linguistics are not abandoned; they are pursued in the light of developing plurlaism in contemporary methoodologicalinsights, as indicated in the title of the book.
