Christ Among the Nations

Drawing on biblical, historical, and contemporary narratives, as well as Christ's four-fold mission identity (Savior, Sanctifier, Healer, and Coming King), four mission practitioners address the question, "In the midst of the challenges and joys of our modern world, where do we find Christ's hope, peace, and joy?" From a variety of denominational and socio-cultural backgrounds, these narratives address religious pluralism, globalization, personal and communal suffering, and attitudes of paternalism, triumphalism, and ethno-centricity.
