This is a chemistry workbook that teaches fundamental concepts in chemistry to pre-service elementary and middle school teachers in an active learning classroom. In this workbook, you will learn fundamental concepts in chemistry and how these concepts relate to one another. You will carry out hands-on experiments on everyday phenomena and learn teaching strategies that can best improve students' understanding in chemistry. Although I wrote this workbook with pre-service teachers in mind, anyone with the interest of learning basic concepts in chemistry can also use it.
