Chinese Countryside in the 20th century

This book systematically presents the development of rural society in China in the 20th century from four parts. The first part discusses the process, theory and path of modern Chinese social history research. The second part focuses on the transformation of modern rural social stratum structure and the evolution of power and power, and deeply analyzes the characteristics of landlords, rich peasants, hired workers and their social stratification, changes in gentry power and the origin of "e;no land but no tyrants, no gentry is not inferior"e;. The third part analyzes the evolution of modern rural history and the root cause of urban-rural duality behind it. The fourth part systematically sorts out the evolution of Chinese rural construction thought and practice in the 20th century, puts forward a unique academic interpretation framework, and constructs an innovative discourse system.
