Childhood Stories of Healing and Courage

This is the forth volume in the Success Series on important topical areas working with challenging young people. In these pages the goal is to bring together issues involving real children and telling their actual stories from childhood abuse, to intensive help to heal, and following up to see the results in their lives. The stars of these stories are the children who have faced lives where the odds were stacked against them from the beginning and they had to find the strength to risk being vulnerable to accept help. Twelve troubled children will be presented in these pages, each is different and each has a different outcome, but the common theme is the courage to rise above the past for a better tomorrow.
