Caterpillar and the Butterfly

As a mother, the hardest thing in life is to see your child in pain and not know how to help. When my father passed away, my young son was terribly upset and confused and was looking for understanding. I could not find a great Christian children's story to explain the transition of life to heaven in a way a child would understand. So I authored a story. As a Christian, I find peace in my faith. As a mother, I need to help my child find that same peace.This tale will take your child on a journey with my friend Sam, the caterpillar, and his mother as they travel through the meadow to see his grandfather's change. Sam will help your child understand the transition that happens in all earthly lives. My hope is that your child will find comfort and understanding knowing that their loved one is on a great journey, which is not something to fear but to celebrate. I hope every time you see a butterfly, it will give you comfort knowing we are all part of a beautiful plan God has designed.
