Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. Some may wonder, then, why is this work not read by the general public? It is not strange if you take into consideration these facts. Marx spent forty laborious years in gathering facts, he had read every author of note on political economy, from Aristotle to Herbert Spencer. He was well versed in the philosophy of thinking and employed both the inductive and deductive methods. He introduced the facts, classified them, according to their relations and significance, and the sequences of these facts were the premises from which he made deductions to explain individual cases.
