Few adults remember adolescence and the insolence of a child when no options appear in their favor. Frenzy barely describes the tantamount ire compressed and bottled when that personality lets nothing stand in their way. Kang found himself at that point. It was a lonely space for Kang because there were years of brutality put upon him by his minders. He trusted no one for good reason. He was on his own, without a country to support him in the chase of a nemesis who was wiser but not necessarily as brilliant. He carried one precious artifact that soothed him during the tense moments of traumatic memories. A Denarius coin from the Roman Empire reminded him that all civilizations eventually reached an end that history would hail as a great fall.
