Casualties of Peace: Gene editing toward a new world order

Using the gene-editing technique, CRISPR-Cas 9, a group of molecular biologists create a bioweapon of immense power and use it force the leaders of fighting nations to lay down their arms. Global battles stop but there are geopolitical repercussions. The United Nations leads the hunt for the scientists, while advanced nations race to develop similar bioweapons. A race of gene warfare seems inevitable, and the rogue scientists must find a way to stop the impending destruction of humanity seeded by their noble intention for peace.
