Evolution isn't something that humans should have ever meddled in, but it's too late to turn back the clock. The creatures that they created are only growing stronger by the day. Once like you or I, those who have changed are now incapable of rational thought. Driven only by the most basic primal instincts that remain in their shattered minds, these creatures relentlessly hunt the living.

There are some who still choose to avoid the cities and live in the wasteland. Members of a twisted faith who draw their teachings from what few relics they could save from the ruins.
