Buddy Won't Fly Away

When many children think of a pet, they think of a dog licking at their face with a slobbery tongue. Maybe a tiny kitten curled into a ball of fur. Don and Linda buy a parakeet for their children. Even if they can't snuggle with "Buddy", they all develop a lasting friendship with the bird. Buddy may not have fur, but he becomes the perfect pet.
