Buddha's War

Specialist Bruce Dudak, nicknamed Buddha because of his casual resemblance to the Chinese Buddha, has stayed in Vietnam because he doesn't want to go home. Trinh is still in Vietnam because the American she was supposed to marry abandoned her after she was badly scarred during the 1968 Tet Offensive. Brought together by chance, Buddha and Trinh cannot believe they are falling in love, yet it is their growing need for one another that brings peace to their troubled souls.
