Brown Islands

BROWN ISLANDS is a product of Love - Love of spreading knowledge, Love of teaching, Love of being with children, and Love of the subject matter, the animals and habitats in the Long Island Sound area. Read to your child or class about the wonders of nature that are found in an intertidal area. Whet the appetite of young explorers and future scientists as to what can be found in the sand and mud. Instill in those inquisitive minds, a unique knowledge about some of the animals that live in the intertidal area, and perhaps how they and their habitats need to be protected.
