This book highlights mbap mbugi. It is an acquisition within the society or transmission systems of theoretical and practical knowledge of Beti, Yanda essence. It is not acquired through apprenticeship, but is practiced by all Yanda and their descendants. This particularity is what underpins traditional Yanda traumatology, which is passed down from generation to generation, from father to son. The foundations of its longevity through the various results, its permanence and its diachronic and synchronic effectiveness.Mbap mbugi can be classed as massotherapy because of the use of bare hands during the therapeutic act, but it is a therapeutic heritage that produces effective results in a very short time and at a lower cost than biomedicine, which would take more time and money to achieve the same results. We can therefore conclude that this medicine could make a considerably significant contribution to the management of bone trauma in Cameroon.
