Bounce Out: The Fall of the British Darts Organisation is the fascinating and insightful tale of a once-proud sports organisation that led the evolution of darts across the world, bringing the working-class game to a TV audience and introducing the public to darting icons including Eric Bristow, Bobby George, Phil Taylor and many more. From the outside, the golden era of darts in the 1980s seemed rosy, yet all was not well behind the scenes, culminating in the infamous split in the 1990s as the darting landscape changed forever. As a new era for the BDO began, they looked to outwit their rivals at the PDC and seemed in control of their darting future. But with the PDC juggernaut in full swing, the BDO began its descent to darting despair, lurching from one disaster to another, with bitter in-fighting, tournament fiascos and poor administration, which ultimately saw its demise in 2020 along with the rise of a new darting hierarchy. Bounce Out is the story of the British Darts Organisation and its descent into oblivion.
